First Meeting Recap

Tuesday September 11th marked the inaugural meeting of the NC Triad chapter of the National Stuttering Association. Four people were in attendance (two people who stutter and the co-chapter leaders). Emily Sharpe read the welcome words to open the meeting. The meeting consisted of introductions of the meeting attendees, lengthy discussion of the individuality of stutterers and the uniqueness of their experiences, and ideas for future meeting topics. The meeting ended with Karrie Craig reading the closing words. The next meeting will be on Tuesday October 9th from 7-9pm in the Claxton Room on the first floor of the Elliott University Center on the campus of UNC Greensboro. First Meeting Agenda

The first meeting for the NC Triad chapter of the National Stuttering Association will be held this Tuesday September 11th from 7-9pm in the Claxton Room on the first floor of the Elliott University Center on the campus of UNC Greensboro. Directions and parking information are provided on the left side of this web page. The agenda of this meeting will consist of a brief history of the National Stuttering Association and discussion of the future direction for the chapter. Refreshments will be provided. If you cannot attend this meeting but would like to provide input for future chapter meetings, please contact the chapter leaders by email at nsagso at yahoo dot com.
